Certified Nursing Assistants’ main responsibility is to ensure patients’ comfort and safety. They can assist other patients’ healthcare team members during treatment, particularly when ambulation and transferring support is needed. They have undergone training to make the process as comfortable and painless as possible. CNAs are also capable of taking patients’ vital signs and documenting patients’ food and liquid intake.
